Dear brothers and sisters of the parish of St. Seraphim of Sarov!
I cordially congratulate you.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2025!
The Nativity of Christ took place more than 20 centuries ago. It was a great miracle in the history of mankind! God became incarnate and became the Perfect Man! The divine miracle amazed the Heavenly hosts, all the angels and the entire universe. The Incarnation sanctified all mankind with the meek and humble light of the God-Child Christ. His Birth begins the transformation, resurrection and ascension of all mankind from the curse, sin and death!
The Bethlehem cave temporarily sheltered the One Who contains the entire universe in His right hand. The humble greatness of the Infant Jesus Christ brings faith, hope, love, Divine joy and happiness to the fallen world! The light of Divine reason enlightens all people with the uncreated gifts of the Holy Spirit. We find all this spiritual wealth in the Holy Church, which proclaims Divine joy to all mankind: – “Heaven and earth are united today, at the birth of Christ. Today God has come to earth, and man has ascended into Heaven. Today we are seen in the flesh, but by nature invisible, for the sake of man. For this reason, we, glorifying Him, cry out to Him: – Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, for Your coming has granted, our Savior, glory to You!” I prayerfully wish you all, dear parishioners, the inexhaustible mercy of God, the strength of your spiritual and physical strength in serving Christ and His Holy Church! May your holy prayers for the Church, for the world, for the family, for your neighbor be with meekness and humility in the image of the God-child, so that we all become worthy of worshiping Christ not only on earth, lying in a manger, but also in Heaven, sitting on the Throne of Glory with the Father and the Holy Spirit! Amen.
