Archbishop Ir\u00e9n\u00e9e met with the regional deans and other elected members of Archdiocesan Council in Rawdon, Qu\u00e9bec on Tuesday 24 October and Wednesday 25 October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Council meeting began with a molieben in the recently acquired and refurbished orthodox church of the Icon of Mother of God of Diveyevo where the parish of St. Seraphim of Sarov meets for worship. A Divine Liturgy was celebrated on Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Council discussions focused on reviewing the 2023 Archdiocesan Assembly held in Ch\u00e2teauguay, planning for future assemblies, coordinating support for the impoverished Diocese of Alaska, and meeting the mission and educational needs for a growing diocese (see the photos<\/a>).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
